Patrice Lannoy born February 11, 1948 in Paris in the twentieth arrondissement, is a French painter, visual artist and graphic designer.
He studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués in Paris, class of 1969.
His masters are in particular Roger Plin, Jacques Haramburu and Serge Mouille.
During his years of training, the reading of Gaston Bachelard and in particular "La poétique de l’espace", as well as the meeting with repetitive music or minimalist music will be decisive on his work.
Jerzy Grotowski's theater and the Living Theater will also be sources of inspiration.
He completed his training at the New Arts Lab (IRAT Institute for Research in Art and Technology) in London, 1970.
